Summary:
With the discovery of the "Inflation Hole" in AD 2300s, it has become possible to travel through space faster than the speed of light using the "Inflation Drive". In space, 10 parsecs from Earth, the relay station the "Watcher's Nest" sits.

Kureha Misaki, a Special Ops recruit, is headed to the "Watcher's Nest" after completing her training, along with her fellow candidates. However, once they arrive they are attacked by creatures called Ghouls, that came through the Inflation Hole from another dimension.
