Naruto Review - AnimEast.com
In the Fire Country 12 years ago, a giant demon fox ravaged the hidden ninja village of Konoha. It's leader, the Hokage defeated the beast by sealing it inside the newborn Uzumaki Naruto. Now, Naruto has graduated from the Ninja Academy. His number one goal is to have his existence acknowledged by his fellow ninja and to one day become their Hokage.Based on the manga of the same name, Naruto is still running in Japan. At 80+ episodes and 24+ tankoubon, the end doesn't seem near. The story arcs are long, but as typical with shounen, filled with good old-fashioned ninja action. There are a multitude of characters, each with very clear personalities and developments and with each story arc, they get stronger, but not in a freakish DBZ sort of way. The voice acting, BGM and writing are very good but sometimes the digital animation leaves less to be desired. ****
