The Love Hina manga is one of the first mangas I ever collected every issue of. Having watched and really liked the anime I was curious what the foundation of it was like, so I checked into the manga. While some portions of the story and the anime are a bit different, you'll find that the story in the manga is far superior to that of the anime. The manga doesn't have strange filler stories like the middle episodes of the anime, and it keeps a cohesive narrative going, with the relationship between Keitaro and Naru slowly being built up. If you enjoyed the anime at all, you should check out the manga as soon as possible, I think you'll find it a rewarding read.
