While getting a lot of flack for being just another 'harem anime', Maburaho is a light-hearted, entertaining series dealing with the efforts of three (well, four really) girls and their desire to have the child of Kazuki Shikimori.

The animation of Maburaho looks very good, with nicely blended computer animation and regular 2-D animation. The seiyuu (voice actors) are all very good, while the character design does come up short on occasion. It seems like they simply went to the official "anime character o-matic" on this one, coming up with the one girl devoted to being a wife, the one rich girl, and the one samurai girl. However, the supporting cast has some really interesting personality traits and they help to cover the blandness of the main character's design. The series is also very funny, but tends to drag along towards the end. I found myself getting annoyed with the main female character Yuuna Miyama by the end of the series, but other than that it was an enjoyable watch.
