For those of you that have read "The Count of MonteChristo" by Dumas, this is the story updated to thefifty-first century. Adventure, rape, incest, greed,and a hidden past actually make for a great story. Although it may drag in places, you still want to seehow everything will come out in the end.

The most amazing part of this series is the animation. This is not your ordinary CG, or normal drawn artworkanimation. It is visually stunning! In factsometimes the visuals take away from the action. Everything moves, the hair, clothing design,backgrounds. Faces are drawn, usually, but theyappear almost as a copy of a Klimpt or Russian iconwith the fantastic clothes. Even the music changes,as can be heard in the contrast between the openingand the ending music styles.
