DC Da Capo Review - AnimEast.com
If you want a short summary of what Da Capo is like, it has a very Kanon feel to it. The first half of the series is basically introducing a new character per episode and setting the stage for the latter half of the series. Around episode 13 and above it starts getting very serious and intense. I like the mixture of comedy and drama that this anime has. The story is excellent and it has a great cast of seiyuu, featuring some of the top names in the business. The animation for this series also looks extremely good, although some of the computer animation looks a bit out of place...the water is all computer animated and normally sticks out like a sore thumb. Aside from that, I can find no flaws with this anime. Most of the episodes are actually about 13 minutes long with another few minutes of some padding or another...a music video or a side-episode.
If you're looking for a great Comedy, Drama, Romance, then you should definately check this one out.
