Reviews/Anime/Stellvia of the Universe

Stellvia has a pretty decent story. Not really enough to carry it through 26 episodes, so look for a lot of padding. The characters are all likeable, although towards the end of the series I found myself disliking Katase because she whined constantly episode after episode. The animation is well done with excellent computer animation for most of the space sequences. If you're looking for an anime with a bit of comedy, a bit of drama, and a lot of whining then check this one out.
