If you want an anime with some action, this is one for you. In twenty-six episodes the characters change. HIME's that don't know they really are, some that definitely know what is happening, and some secret HIME's. The first section deals with the joining together of some of the girls to stop a domination group. Comedy plays a large part with this section. And then things change after you've been sucked in.

The second part of the series deals with the HIME star that only real HIME can see in the sky. After watching the comedy of the early episodes this becomes a shocker. The HIME turn on each other, with only one to live to the end. And not only do we have the death and destruction of the HIME, but when one is defeated the person most loved by that HIME dies. Love triangles, and lovers, cause more anguish.

The end episode changes the feeling again, and to me almost doesn't belong. Things you thought were finalized aren't.

Overall this is good, the twists and turns will surprise the viewer, and not all is as it seems.
