Reviews/Anime/Midori no Hibi

Midori no Hibi is one of the better animes that I have seen in a while. The story is funny, yet touching as it takes you through the trials and tribulations of the main characters, especially the misunderstood Sawamura Seiji. The seiyuu are all top quality names whose voices you have heard in the likes of Onegai Twins and Love Hina (both Keitaro and Kaolla Su are represented here.) Most of this cast appears together again in DearS (another favorite anime.) The animation in this series is beautifully done, with the computer generated effects blending seamlessly in with the rest, and lavish backgrounds giving you a good feel of the city that the characters live in. The music is also above par, especially the catchy end theme.

If you are looking for a lighthearted romantic comedy then you should definately check this one out.
